Limitations:
As with any assay employing mouse antibodies, the possibility exists for interference by human anti-mouse antibodies (HAMA) in the sample which could falsely lower results. In very rare cases gammopathy, in particular type IgM (Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia), may cause unreliable results.
